Lisa Lim is a major character in the "Hilo" series. She is D.J.'s whip-smart younger sister and the first outside of his friend circle to discover Hilo's identity.

Lisa is very smart. In the first book, she is described to be an early bloomer, doing everything two years early. She is in the third grade despite her age. She was naturally suspicious of Hilo from the beginning, not phased when she discovers the truth. She also deducted that Hilo and D.J. weren't themselves in "Then Everything Went Wrong". Polly describes her as very spunky.
Appearance[]
Lisa has dark peach skin and long dark hair that she usually wears down. She has a purple headband on her head.
Powers and abilities[]
- Intelligence: Lisa is very smart and is easily able to figure out Hilo's secret.
- Piano playing: In "The Boy who Crashed to Earth", Lisa is said to play the piano and is well-versed in sightreading.
- Magic-wielding: Lisa is able to easily perform magic in "All the Pieces Fit" when given proper resources.
Trivia[]
- In "Saving the Whole Wide World", it is revealed that Lisa has a crush on Hilo. Wherever this still stands as of "All the Pieces Fit" is unknown.
